Nick Jurkowitz was a speaker on “SGR Fix: The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System, and What It Means to Physicians” at the Chinese American Medical Association of Southern California (CAMASC). In the presentation, Nick addressed the replacement of the Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) payment system with the Merit-Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS), and discussed the effects the new system will have on physicians’ reimbursements.
