Ben’s profile highlighted his representation of physicians and health care providers in several significant disputes, including the notable lawsuit of Gareth K. Forde, M.D., Ph.D., M.B.A. v. Regents of the University of California, et al. In this case, Dr. Forde alleged wrongful termination for blowing the whistle on patient safety violations, as well as discrimination based on his race and gender. In an outstanding victory for Ben’s client, the jury awarded Dr. Forde $17 million in damages.
