Fenton Jurkowitz Law Group, led by Partner Benjamin Fenton, successfully represented a surgeon who was summarily suspended by his medical group based on allegations related to poor quality of care. The summary suspension was reported to the Medical Board of California, which initiated an investigation into the physician’s quality of care. Following an administrative hearing that included testimony from numerous expert witnesses, a peer review committee unanimously reversed the summary suspension and found it to be unreasonable and unwarranted. Fenton Jurkowitz Law Group also successfully closed the Medical Board of California investigation without any further action by the Board.
