Anne Schneider will host a breakout session during the Breakfast Roundtable at The California Society for Healthcare Attorneys (CSHA)’s Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar. The session, entitled “The Medical Incapacity Hold” will take place May 6, 2023 from 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.
Her presentation will discuss the issue of the medical incapacity hold & the psychiatric capacity hold, detailing the criteria for LPS holds compared to those of the medical incapacity hold. She will also dive into the nuances of the new Senate bill and the impact its language can have on the determination of these holds.
