Anne Schneider recently published two articles on legal writing for the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal.
In her first article, “Legal Writing Fundamentals. The IRAC formula is one surefire promise of success in litigation.,” Anne outlines how to use the IRAC (Issue, Rule, Application, and Conclusion) writing format for legal writing using a fictional scenario surrounding a city-owned sidewalk injury.
Her second article, entitled “Tips for drafting a civil complaint,” examines the five organizational sections of a civil complaint and a step-by-step guide on how to properly file one. Both pieces were part of a short series of columns produced by the Daily Journal aiming to help legal professionals improve their writing skills.
